Dwarka Metro Line Expansion- Dwarka Sector-21 till Upcoming Exhibition cum Exhibition Centre

New Delhi: DMRC has started extending the high speed Airport Express Line deeper into Dwarka with the construction work of an underground stretch. The Corridor currently running between New Delhi Metro Station and Dwarka Sector-21, will be extended till Dwarka Sector-25. 

To Make Delhi World Class- DDA Allocated Budget of 8000 Crores

New Delhi: The DDA has pegged its budget expenditure for the 2018-19 fiscal at over Rs 8,000 crore and plans to transform Delhi into a "world-class city" through various projects, which include the rejuvenation of the Yamuna. The budget, along with revised estimates for 2017-18, was presented before the Authority, the DDA's highest decision-making body, during a meeting held today at Raj Niwas under the chairmanship of Lt Governor Anil Baijal. "The budget expenditure for the year 2018-19 has been set at Rs 8,032 crore approximately, projecting a growth of 67 per cent over the revised budget estimates for 2017-18 at Rs 5,295 crore," the Delhi Development Authority said in a statement. As part of its budgetary allocation, the housing authority plans to spend Rs 3,633 crore on houses and shops; Rs 765 crore on acquisition of land and payment of enhanced compensation; Rs 2,348 crore on development of land; and Rs 1,286 crore on establishment and

No GST on Affordable Housing Scheme

DDA Land Pooling Policy

A housing society group on Thursday urged  Prime Minister  Narendra  Modi to ensure implementation of earlier approved Land Pooling Policy, as the new policy will deprive people of  affordable housing  in some parts of the national capital, and also warned of an agitation if this was not done. The Federation of Housing Societies and Developers in  Delhi  (FEDHSDD), which held a day-long protest at the  Delhi  Development Authority's (DDA) office, also wrote to Modi demanding immediate rollback of modified land pooling policy as it will "increase the cost of homes by 40-50 per cent and affect more than 40,000 people who have invested under the policy".
